05.13.2008.lies.truth.

Today in staff meeting the creative team hosted and we encouraged everybody to tap into their creative side. We sometimes assume that since we do not paint or create graphics, we are not creative. Since God is the ultimate creator, and He created us in His image, we are creative. So the exercise was to tell the lie and then the truth. We all did collages and stuff. We are going to make it a big giant picture then frame it and hang it in the office. It was a great time.

Here is my lie. That I have no more ideas. This is the one that gets me the most. Where I feel totally empty and have nothing to contribute.

My truth is God made me this way so that I can serve Him. Therefore He will always use me.

My lie is I don't have the time to be creative because of my family and all my responsibilities. But my truth is...I can make the time if I wanted to and in order for me to continue to thrive in this life--I have to do what God created me to do because its at that time that I feel really alive.
